Honey&Soy Pork Belly

It is personally one of my favourite dish. It contains so much intensity with its taste and smell. I would recommend you to cook this dish with side. It can be rice or noodles. It goes for casual dinners and its powerful sweet taste is perfectly match with red wine.


INGREDIENTS


-2 or 3 table spoon honey. ( This will depend on which kind of honey you use. Some organic honey brands has really powerful taste).

- 2 table spoon dark soy sauce.

-500 gram pork belly

- 4 cloves of garlic

-Salt&Pepper

-Vegetable oil

-Butter


Firstly, start with cutting your pork bellies, make sure you put salt and pepper both side of pork belly. Smash your garlic until its really small. I suggest you to use wok for cooking but you can also pan as well. Heat your wok or pan and add just a little bit vegetable oil. Do not forget that we are not rushing the food , high heat can be necessary and good for foods but low heat is our safe option. We do not want to burn our garlic or sauce. So after your pan is hot enough dropped the heat and add your garlic. After that put your pork inside the pan add 2 tablespoon of butter. When your pork is about to be cook , add your honey and soy sauce and one more table spoon butter. Make sure you mix them very well inside and continue to stir until its perfectly cooked.
